This is a collection of mysteries that show how powerful a few words can be. 

Each story follows someone whose fate is changed after they encounter a brief message. Sometimes the result is a happy ending, and sometimes it is not. 

But whatever form the message takes, written or spoken,

it always contains exactly fifty-six words.
